Body
|
Strong cats of average size, with strong skeleton, a skin to the touch gentle, velvety, hot. Expressed sexual dimorphism. Are very active and orderly. A body - strong, brawny, average length, dense, with a wide croup, hot to the touch. A deep line of a groin. Strong skeleton, forearms straight lines, fingers long, mobile.
Tail - long, direct, strong and flexible.

Head
|
Wedge-shaped skull, with prominent cheek bones and eye brows. Eyeballs are appreciable. A forehead flat, with set of the vertical folds dispersing horizontally over eyes. A nose of average length, direct, with easily designated transition to a forehead. A muzzle rather short, with a lung pinch, slightly rounded off. The bite is defined on a condition of canines, without a withdrawal. Canines long, can act from under an upper lip.
whiskers- whelke, thick, but can shortly break off and be absent.

Ears
|
Ears - big, widely and highly put, are slightly inclined forward, widely opened, with the rounded off tips. The external edge of an ear does not leave for a line of cheeks.

Eyes
|
Eyes - average size, almond-shaped are slantwise put, rather narrowly opened. Colour of eyes any.

Coat
|
Integument - a skin elastic, excessive, folded on a head, a neck, in armpits and in a groin. At young animals the muzzle can be covered by the short, thin wool hardly extended on cheeks in the basis of ears. Can appear thin flok all body in the winter. It is supposed residual flok "points", a muzzle, ears, finitenesses and a tail. At adult animals the residual wool should disappear completely by two years. Kittens can be born with ðåêñîâîé a sinuosity and balt head. Whiskers-whelke an obligatory distinctive sign at newborn Don sphinxes.

Colour
|
Colours- any are supposed. Examination is spent separately on colour but all tabby and torby are estimated without division as drawing but with division on colour (black tabby, black tabby bicolour, tortoise bicolour etc.).

Faults
|
Short round or narrow head, small, or low put ears, round eyes, a short, easy, weak body, the short or incorrectly coming to an end tail, full flok bodies, entropion to 2 mm at canines in "lock". A weak oblique chin.
Defects - entropion, overshot bite more than 2 mm. Crossing with other breeds - is not supposed with 2006.
